Erase Archived Files command (Tools menu)

Removes photos that you have backed up from your hard drive. Photo Backup checks the drives and prompts you if you have not burned the archive to backup disk. You can use this feature when you want to make room on your hard drive for other files.

When you erase archived photos, Photo Backup keeps track of the location of the photos. The next time you open the archive, the software lets you know that the photos are not stored on the hard drive.

caution Caution

This feature permanently removes your photo files from your computer. You can restore the photos later by opening the archive and clicking a command on the Restore menu.
